The Swift House Inn is the proud recipient of the this prestigious award for the last three years and is awaiting results for 2009. The award recognizes food services establishments for their wine lists and food selections. We are one of 35 establishments in the Sate of Vermont that has achieved this recognition.

Swift House Inn Green Hotel Designation
The Swift House has received the Vermont Green Hotel designation. This is in recognition of our "Green Practices" and commitment to a better environment. We have a passionate recycling program, have reduced energy consumption with the installation of 3 new high efficiency boilers and almost 100% CFL lighting.
We also are trying to use paper products that have high percentages of post consumer products and using cleaning products that have minimal or no impact on the environment. We got more to do but we're excited about what we have done so far!
