Welcome Home Vermont Guard

Welcome Home Vermont Guard. A year ago our Vermont National Guard's largest mobilization since WWII sent 1500 Vermont Guard Soldiers to Afghanistan. Everyone in the state of Vermont is celebrating their return. All guard members will be home for Christmas. The Swift House Inn has joined with 17 Vermont Inns to recognize the Vermont Guard. All 18 Inns are members of Select Registry, Distinguished Inns of North America, which includes many of the finest Inns in Vermont and the US. The Swift House Inn and Vermont Inns are offering each Guard Member one free night lodging in one of the Inns. The offer is provided in January, February and March 2011, Sunday-Thursday. That totals almost 1200 room nights. Guard members just need to pick the Inn and call and make a reservation! We want to recognize and thank these wonderful Vermonters with a relaxing night out. We are anxious to have as many guardsmen visit us here in Middlebury, and enjoy central Vermont's Champlain Valley.
